Welcome to North Irvine Water Polo Club

  • Our Philosophy

At NIWPC, we believe in powering athletes for success in the pool and beyond. We focus on fundamentals, meaningful progression, and a love for the game, never at the expense of character or joy.

    • Athlete-First: Development, improvement and passion lead the way.

    • Inclusive Excellence: Dedicated athletes of all levels are welcome.

    • High Standards: From practice to competition, we aim for better, every day.

  • We empower athletes to excel—both in the pool and in life. At NIWPC, we cultivate a bold, competitive environment where players master skills, grow as teammates, and carry integrity and sportsmanship into everything they do.

  • What We Do

NIWPC offers year-round, age-grouped training at premier facilities.

    • Two main tracks: Elite Track for experienced athletes aiming high; Development Track for those building toward that level.

    • Practice venues: William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center and Northwood High School.

    • Transparent pricing, clear commitments, and a club culture rooted in respect, growth and fun.

  • Our coaches are committed professionals who bring skill, attention and encouragement to every session. Our venues, Woollett Aquatics Center and Northwood Aquatics Complex, are top-tier aquatic environments.

  • Structured programs aligned with athlete growth, from fundamentals to high-performance.

    • Small team sizes: personalized attention, strong peer groups, focused development.

    • A community built on respect, resilience and achievement.

  • Participation in water polo carries inherent risk. All athletes must be current members of USA Water Polo before entering the pool. By joining NIWPC, families agree to uphold club policies and expectations around attendance, behavior, safety, equipment and communication.
